Fieldwork Robotics is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Collis as Chief Financial Officer, further strengthening its executive team as the company accelerates international expansion and enters its next phase of growth.
Michelle has a successful track record with over 20 years’ experience working as a Financial Officer in the startup space for the last 10 years, supporting high-growth, venture-backed businesses through rapid scale, fundraising, IPOs and exits. With deep expertise across the technology and biotechnology sectors, she has worked with organisations ranging from early-stage ventures to global corporates generating revenues exceeding US$2 billion. Michelle’s experience includes positions at Tozaro, a biotechnology company, as well as for Biocair, a global GDP logistics specialist.
Michelle has supported a wide range of transactions, including fundraises, M&A, as well as a record-breaking IPO for one of the largest biotech firms in Cambridge. Michelle’s expertise will be central as Fieldwork accelerates its commercialisation strategy and international expansion. In her role as CFO, she will support the Fieldwork’s transition from start-up to scale-up, prepare the business for future investment, new funding rounds, and engage with strategic and institutional investors as the Company strengthens its global market presence.
Michelle’s appointment is the second senior leadership addition in Fieldwork’s ongoing strategy to expand its executive team with world-class industry expertise. Agri-tech industry leader Seth Crawford was recently appointed Chair, bringing decades of experience at the forefront of agricultural technology. Sid Shaikh, who recently joined the business as Chief Technology Officer contributing world-class engineering knowledge from his work on advanced technology platforms, including Ocado’s global robotic pick-and-pack system.
